Another area of interest that I have within the field of photography is capturing the human element. Memories and human interactions are what people live for and I enjoy capturing them. Here, my brother-in-law posed for some new professional portraits for Parlando School For the Arts, where he teaches guitar. www.parlando.org

The Classical Elements
From the ancient Greeks and Babylonians to Buddhist teachings, there has always been the presence of the four classical elements that are present in our world. Here is a small project of mine that brings about all four Elements.

Mt. Sanitas
Recently I took these while hiking Mt. Sanitas in Boulder.
The first few shots are looking north towards Green Mountain. The rest are assorted pictures of the local vegetation and atmosphere on Sanitas. Interestingly, Sanitas translates from Latin as: "Health, knowledge, & holiness."

Light Writing
Photography translates from greek as "Light Writing." I am utilizing this definition in my title not to confuse but to reflect the importance of light within this art. Light Writing is merely the capstone phrase and fittingly embodies the title of my efforts.
